Speed, psychedelia and relentless momentum sit at the heart of Indira Paganotto’s sound. Blending hypnotic grooves with uncompromising techno energy, the Spanish DJ and producer has become one of the defining figures behind the global rise of psy-techno.
Her breakthrough arrived remarkably early. At just 17 years old, Ian Pooley discovered her during a warm-up set in Gran Canaria and signed three of her vinyl releases to Pooled Music. Soon after, she moved to Madrid, laying the foundations for a career that would quickly extend far beyond Spain.
Rather than following trends, Paganotto has carved out a musical identity entirely her own. Releases, collaborations and marathon DJ sets have established a sound that moves effortlessly between driving techno and psychedelic intensity. Alongside Nina Kraviz, she released White Horse, while her label ARTCORE has grown into one of the scene’s most distinctive imprints, helping shape a new generation of artists and audiences around the world.
From remixing Depeche Mode to commanding the stages of Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Sónar, Coachella, and EXIT, her ascent has been both rapid and uncompromising. Milestones such as becoming the first woman to close the main stage at Monegros and her acclaimed residency at Hï Ibiza further underline her position among the most influential artists in contemporary electronic music.
This September, Indira Paganotto makes her reworks debut. One of the most exciting artists of techno’s new generation joins the festival for the first time, bringing her unmistakable energy and one of today’s most in-demand performances to Thessaloniki.
