Giorgos Toulas

Giorgos Toulas was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Political Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He has been working as a journalist since 1988 and has served as editor, editor in chief and director in magazines, newspapers, radio and television, as well as the newspaper of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Since 1989, he has been publishing and directing the freepress magazine Parallaxi in Thessaloniki, as well as the initiative Thessaloniki Differently.

At Reworks Agora 2018, Giorgos Toulas will speak to us about the action in “Thessaloniki Otherwise”.  An urban experiment of a group of people that inspired the Thessalonians – and not only – in a different approach to the use of the public space using culture as a vehicle.
