As part of the European program TIMES, reworks travels to Berlin to co-curate a unique showcase at Berlin Atonal, one of the world’s most influential festivals dedicated to experimental and forward-thinking electronic music.

Founded in 1982, Berlin Atonal quickly became a catalyst for the avant-garde scene, hosting pioneers such as Einstürzende Neubauten and Laibach. Since its revival in 2013, it has taken place at the monumental Kraftwerk Berlin, a former power plant transformed into an industrial “cathedral” of sound and art. Today, it stands as a global platform for experimental sound, performance, and multisensory installations. In 2024, it became the first music festival to join the International Biennial Association, highlighting its worldwide cultural significance.

Within this emblematic setting, reworks presents artists who embody the innovation and evolution of contemporary electronic music:

  • Anthony Linell – Swedish producer and co-founder of Northern Electronics, with a dark, atmospheric and experimental techno sound.

  • DJ Red – A symbol of Italian techno and resident of Rome’s Goa Club, known for her hypnotic and powerful sets.

  • Neel – A true sound architect, merging techno and ambient with precision and depth.

  • Bendik Giske & Sam Barker – A rare duo where Giske’s saxophone meets Barker’s electronics, shaping ritualistic and emotionally charged sonic landscapes.

🔸 Tonight’s program features the mesmerizing performance of Bendik Giske & Sam Barker, followed on Saturday by a unique back-to-back-to-back session: Anthony Linell b2b DJ Red b2b Neel.
