Born in Thessaloniki. She has studied Journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has worked in electronic and print media.
The texts, the “written speech” has always been an integral part of her daily life. She already holds a master’s degree in Journalism and New Technologies, which explains her love for digital applications and her long involvement with social networking platforms.
In 2019, she attended with a fellowship from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation the ImedD program, the independent body for the training of journalists funded by ISN.
She often comes in contact with young people with energy and creativity as she holds the license of TEDxUniversityofMacedonia. She publishes in the city media, while she has edited publications in the past and her love for books led her to the role of the Director of the University of Macedonia Press, which she holds until today.
Her love for Arts led her once again to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she is completing her second postgraduate degree in Art and how it works and is presented in the Public Sphere.
She believes in synergies and collaborations and in the power of women that she considers the driving force of society, although in recent years, as she says, we are taking many steps forward but we have not been able to balance the “balances” and the female presence is either questioned, or it is endangered in realistic time and place in Greece a s well.
