Kamilo Nollas

Founder of Vovousa Festival

Kamilo Nollas (born Paris 1968), studied photography in Athens and Liege and since 1999 has been working as a freelance photographer and photography teacher.

His first solo exhibition Tobacco Shop (2007) was presented in Athens, Thessaloniki, Paris and Istanbul. In 2009 he received a scholarship from the Fulbright Foundation and attended specialized courses at the International Center of Photography in New York. The material that emerged from his stay in the United States was presented in a solo exhibition at the New Benaki Museum (2011) entitled Mobile in NY.

His photographs belong to public and private collections in Greece and abroad, while four albums-monographs with his personal work have been published. Since 2015, it organizes the Vovousa Festival, the only multi-themed mountain festival in Greece.
