Dimitris Gourdoukis is an architect and an assistant professor at the School of Architecture at the Aristotle University. He holds a PhD in Architecture from the same school, a Master in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Diploma in Architecture from the Aristotle University.
He has taught at the School of Architecture / Sam Fox School of Design and the Visual Arts at Washington University. Currently he is teaching architectural design and theory of architecture both at a graduate and at a post-graduate level. Dimitris is director of object-e architecture, an experimental architectural practice that has been awarded repeatedly in many architectural competitions. Dimitris’s work, which extends equally in academic and design areas, has been widely published and exhibited internationally. He has also published many articles while he has been lecturing extensively.
