Soyun Park is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from South Korea, based in The Hague, The Netherlands. She’s also a founder of RGBdog, a community-based studio bridging technology, sound, and visual arts. She is interested in the question of how technology influences human functioning, varying from the individual level (physical movement and relationships) to the social level (architecture and politics).
Often in collaboration with sound artists, her work takes the form of videos, installations, performances experimenting with a variety of new media and technology. With her practice, she investigates the connection and the gap between the RGB world and reality which are getting thinner every day.
She has exhibited and performed at media art festivals, cultural venues and educational institutes, including for example Nederlands Fotomuseum (NL), Ars Electronica (AT), UNM Festival (DK), and iii workspace (NL).
