Mouh Aleb Ish

Nikolaos Mouchalempis is an artist working across multiple facets of contemporary electronic music as a DJ, live performer, and producer under the aliases Mouh Aleb Ish, Pollux Rose, and Nicola Regulus.

With a background in classical piano training, his approach to electronic music is rooted in musicality and structure while remaining firmly connected to contemporary club culture. As a DJ, his sets move fluidly across genres such as jazz, soul, disco, funk, house, breaks, IDM, and techno, shaped by a strong sense of rhythm and experimentation.

His live performances, however, focus on what he describes as functional braindance — exploring the space between functional club music and experimental electronics.

Mouh Aleb Ish represents his latest and most refined artistic chapter, introduced through Necessary Unfold, the newly formed label and collective of which he is also a member. His productions have appeared on respected imprints including Fever AM (founded by Mor Elian and Rhyw), as well as Diffuse Reality, Claap Records, and Numb Capsule.
