On Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Block 33, Reworks | NON present Autechre for a one-off live performance in Thessaloniki.

The iconic British duo of Sean Booth and Rob Brown stands as one of the most defining forces in global electronic music. Active since the late ’80s, Autechre have shaped the landscape of modern electronica with relentless experimentation and innovation. Together with Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada, they form the legendary Warp Records trinity that brought IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) to life and forever changed the course of music history.

As Resident Advisor aptly put it, Autechre have “created a vast, enigmatic and often brilliant body of work,” stretching from the melodic tones of Amber to the generative abstractions of Confield—the latter described as having an “impact on electronic music comparable to that of early free jazz records.”

With nearly their entire discography released on the historic Warp Records, Autechre have delivered countless landmark albums. Their debut Incunabula (1993) remains a cornerstone of electronic music history, even topping the UK independent charts upon release. It was followed by the atmospheric Amber (1994) and the groundbreaking Tri Repetae (1995), with which Autechre firmly established IDM as a powerful new movement. With 11 full-length albums and numerous EPs to date, their contribution to experimental electronic music remains unmatched—countless contemporary artists cite them as a foundational influence.

Their live performances are a chapter of their own. For over a decade now, Autechre have performed in total darkness, transforming the venue into a blank canvas where sound becomes the sole sensory input. Within this otherworldly atmosphere, the audience is immersed in dazzling sonic landscapes, intricate rhythmic structures and futuristic textures—a live experience unlike any other.
