Revealing the First Wave of Artists for reworks 2026

The first artist announcement for reworks 2026 brings together internationally acclaimed names alongside exciting debut appearances.

Paul Kalkbrenner returns with his outstanding new album as well as the timeless tracks that have made him one of electronic music’s most beloved live performers. Joining the lineup for his first-ever reworks appearance is Indira Paganotto, one of the most exciting forces in contemporary techno.

One of the most influential and iconic figures in the history of electronic music, Moritz von Oswald, will perform in Thessaloniki for the very first time. Also making their Thessaloniki debuts are The Blessed Madonna and Berghain resident Fadi Mohem.

Returning to reworks are artists who have shaped some of the festival’s most memorable moments over the years. Maceo Plex, Dixon, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Modeselektor and Daria Kolosova all return to the festival, bringing back the distinctive sound and energy that have made them audience favourites.

The lineup also welcomes Alex Wann, one of the leading names of the global afro house scene, making his debut at reworks, alongside DVS1, one of the most respected and influential artists in contemporary techno.

Experience something truly unique.

A special co-produced project by reworks will also receive its Greek premiere. Inspired by the Antikythera Mechanism, The Talk is an AI-driven audiovisual performance created by Heith, Günseli Yalcinkaya and Andrea Belosi. Following presentations at major international festivals across France, Italy, Germany and beyond, the project will be presented for the first time in Greece, exclusively at reworks in Thessaloniki.

As always, Greek artists remain an essential part of the festival’s identity. The first announcement features artists including Ison, Momery and Athineos, alongside a strong representation of Greece’s thriving techno scene with Pinelopi, Cnthia, Vertical Slope, Low F Signal, Thravsma, Decø and many more artists who will be revealed in the coming weeks.
