Reworks is one of the partners of the European project “We are Europe”, where 8 major festivals in Europe are joining forces aiming to redesign the cultural map of Europe. More than 2 million visitors will have the opportunity to attend the projects of We are Europe through Nuits Sonores (France), Sonar (Spain), c/o Pop (Germany), TodaysArt (The Nederlands), Elevate (Austria), Resonate (Serbia), Ιnsomnia (Norway) and of course Reworks Festival from Greece.
The participating festivals share a common element. They have creative forums incorporated in their program. Through the creation of Reworks Agora, Reworks is joining its forces with the other festivals, in order to produce new cultural practices creating strong bonds with artists, professionals and the audience. This collaboration will constantly develop through several synergies. Every festival is participating in the programming of two other festivals each year and welcomes two festivals to curate part of its own program. In 2016 το Reworks went to Sonar and Insomnia and welcomed Resonate and Elevate. In 2017, Reworks will be in Nuits Sonores curating part of the festival’s line-up and also curating part of the panels of the European Lab. Later this year, Reworks will be in Hague invited by ΤodaysArt (22-23 of September). On its 13th edition, Reworks will host and present to the Greek audience Nuits Sonores and Ιnsomnia.
